During the event, which was organized by the National Municipalities Confederation (CNM), the Senator read a letter by Lula as the PT’s pre-candidate for Presidency of the Republic, in which he highlighted the republican manner in which he always treated the mayors and all the development and investment programs in his government. “If someone wants to be President, should beat me with votes,” he said.
