- The National Justice Council (CNJ) opened an investigation into judge Sergio Moro’s nomination for the position of Minister of Justice by right-wing extremist Jair Bolsonaro (PSL). The CNJ is investigating the illegal actions of Moro in negotiating a ministry position while he held the position of judge, which shows that he always acted as a politician in a toga. PT Congressmen argued to the CNJ that Moro interfered in the election process when he released content from ex-Minister Antônio Palocci’s plea bargain testimony one week before the first round of the elections. - The popular artist João Bello visited the Lula Livre Vigil on this Saturday to share his art and culture with the resistance activists, who have been there 218 days. An activist named Silvestre also performed a concert today, as he does every day, to cheer up the Vigil.
- Today’s good morning shout to Lula featured a special presentation by Cabelo, the activist responsible for live transmission of Vigil activities on the internet. He left the task of live streaming to another activist this Saturday so that he could shout his message of support for freedom of ex-President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who was condemned without proof by judge Sergio Moro.
