- On this Thursday, September 19th, former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva was visited by singer/songwriter Chico Buarque, legal scholar Carol Proner, former Minister of Foreign Relations Celso Amorim and ex-candidate for President Fernando Haddad (PT). One of the reasons for the visit was to deliver a letter signed by the Brazilian Association of Jurists for Democracy (ABD) of which Carol Proner is a member. “We have to say thank you, for unmasking the legal farce which was set up in our country to cause political and social setbacks, under the false pretext of fighting corruption,” says a passage from the letter. - Former President Lula gave an interview to Fórum Magazine and Opera Mundi on this Wednesday, September 18th, in which he spoke of the posture and strategy of current President Jair Bolsonaro. According to Lula, Bolsonaro needs to start acting like a President, measuring his words better and governing for the benefit of the people.
