During the third and final part of his interview with Sul21, former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva spoke of his love for Brazil and his desire to continue fighting for the Brazilian people. “As long as this heart is still beating and this brain keeps working you can be sure that I will defend the interests of the Brazilian people,” he said. 2. National PT President, Congresswoman Gleisi Hoffmann (PR) spoke about the story published by Veja Magazine in partnership with The Intercept Brasil, which was released on Friday, July 5th, which reveals more violations of the law by former judge Sérgio Moro with the goal of convicting ex-President Lula without any material evidence. “Moro always wanted witnesses to incriminate Lula and, suddenly, he refused to hear testimony from Eduardo Cunha. He didn’t know what he would have said, but he was against it. Why? Moro was supposed to arrest Cunha because there was a lot of pressure on him, but he didn’t want him to testify because, obviously, he would have spoken of things that were not interesting to him. 3. The “good morning President Lula,” shout on this Saturday, July 6th, was led by a group of women from the feminist reading club of the CUT labor union federation. They mentioned the book “Calibã e a Bruxa” by Silvia Federici, and how people’s leaders are usually persecuted when they dedicate themselves to the interests of society, as happened in the case of former President Lula.
