1. The “good morning, President Lula,” shout on this Saturday, June 8th, at the Lula Livre Vigil was led by the Paraná-based artist João Bello. After the activity, he joined the activists from the democratic resistance to sing several songs, including the famous, “Olê, olê olá, Lula, Lula!” Later that morning there was a conversation circle on the current challenges of the education policy for high school and vocational school, with the professors Lucas Barbosa Pelissari, from the Federal Institute of Paraná, and Mônica Ribeiro, coordinator of the University of Paraná High School Observatory. The book was launched this Saturday, at the Lula Livre Vigil. See photos from the events here: https://tinyurl.com/y4tuxd8l
3. The OAB (Order of Lawyers from Brazil) classified as a “serious episode” the information released by ex-President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s defense team about reports from the Lava Jato investigation that were made through illegal wire tapping of their law offices. “Conversation between defense lawyers and their clients is protected by law and its violation by any means is illegal. They represent an attack on the right of the defense and the prerogatives of the lawyers,” according to the OAB. The man who oversaw these criminal acts was judge Sérgio Moro, who is currently serving as Justice Minister of the government that he helped elect. Read more here:
