- Today, the Lula Livre Vigil promoted a conversation circle about challenges to the national electrical system, which is threatened by an anti-national, privatization policy sponsored by the right wing extremist Jair Bolsonaro government. One of the participants was the electrical engineer Antônio Goulart, who worked for the Eletrosul utility company and has an in-depth knowledge of the national electrical system. - The engineer Antônio Goulart also participated in the customary “good morning, President Lula!,” shout. During his speech he spoke of the importance of the struggle in defense of education and against the proposal for pension reforms which was submitted to Congress by the current government. “On this Thursday, May 30th, we will take to the streets again to continue the fight against the return to the past promoted by the Bolsonaro government,” he said. - The warm up for the Lula Livre Festival took place on this Tuesday, May 28th, in São Paulo. The cultural activity was part of the preparations for the Festival, which will be held in defense of freedom for the ex-President on Praça da República, in downtown São Paulo, on June 2.
