1. Dozens of people shouted “Free Lula!” this afternoon (April 13) in the Tiete bus station in São Paulo in an emotional demonstration led by trumpet players who played the song “Olê, olê, olê, olá, Lula, Lula!.” The group of trumpeters was followed by pedestrians between the bus station – the busiest one in São Paulo, and the metro station. The Lulaço, as this type of demonstration is known, is practiced in public places in defense of freedom for Lula, who has been a political prisoner for over a year in Curitiba.
