1. Today, Lula’s social media accounts released a previously unseen video in which he evaluates the persecution against him made by sectors of the Judiciary and says that he knows how history will judge him. “They don’t know how they will be judged by history. I know. I know that I will be remembered in History as the President who made more social inclusion in this nation,” he says, in a message that was recorded before his political imprisonment on April 7th. Lula says that he is in the situation of an innocent man  who was judged to prevent him from returning and making the best government for Brazil. “I don’t know if they have the clear conscious to finish this job [try to remove him from the Presidential race], because they know that History is built over the course of many years,” he says. 2. The elected and deposed President Dilma Rousseff released a letter this Sunday, in which she criticized the judiciary for burying ex-President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva’s constitutional rights with the final goal of impeding his candidacy for the presidency. “To stop Lula from being a candidate, they installed a kind of judicial free for all. First of all, they denounced him without proof, based only on ‘convictions’; afterwords they condemned him for ‘undetermined acts’; then they threw him in prison before his appeals were ruled on, which is a right that is guaranteed to other defendants and prisoners; and now they blocked his prerogative to make an appeal,” said Dilma. 4. This afternoon in the #LulaLivre Vigil, there was a cultural activity with songs from the countryside and acoustic guitar, with Mr. Melancia de Viamão (Rio Grande do Sul), who is a member of the Emiliano Zapata brigade from Ponta Grossa, Paraná. During the cultural activity, there was a reflection made about the health effects of pesticides which contaminate products and spread damage through the entire environment.

5. A bus caravan of MST members from Rio Grande do Sul arrived in time to participate in the “good afternoon” yell to Lula. At 6PM, there was an ecumenical religious service, followed by the “good night” yell to the ex-President.
