- Although he has been a political prisoner for more than 70 days, ex-President Lula will debut on this Monday, June 18th, as a commentator for the World Cup in Russia, on Papo com Ze Trajano , a program on TVT and Radio Brasil Atual. Lula will write his impressions of the games, the producers will put subtitles in quotation marks on the screen and an announcer will read the comments for the viewers. “The program will not be shown on social media like Facebook and Youtube because the game images belong exclusively to Rede Globo, but we will have the goals and the images made by partner reporters of ours in Russia,” says Trajano. - This Sunday, June 17, there was football at the #LulaLivre Vigil, with the activists accompanying the Brazilian national team’s game, without giving up the fight for freedom for the ex-President. The CBF uniform was exchanged for other shirts that are also blue, green and yellow, but that pay homage to ex-President Lula and his great work to reduce social inequality and provide dignified living conditions for an expressive portion of the Brazilian population. Not even the tie against Switzerland lowered the spirits of the activists, who continued chanting words of order demanding freedom for Lula. - As evening set in today, there was an ecumenical ceremony held that united representatives of the Catholic, Evangelical and African-based faiths at the Lula Livre Vigil. Activists from the MST also participated in the event with poetry readings. The activities ended with the traditional “good night” yell to comrade Lula.
