- This Thursday, April 19, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Adolfo Pérez Esquivel will appear at the Federal Police headquarters in Curitiba at 10 AM. Despite the fact that a judge issued an order to prohibit an inspection of the conditions in which Lula is being held that was requested by the Argentinian human rights observer, Lula affirmed, through his lawyer, that he hasn’t only authorized the visit but he would like to see his Argentinian friend this Thursday.
- There are hopes that the Nobel Prize Laureate will be able to visit ex-President Lula today. An international delegation is in the camp, participating in the morning protest and the traditional good morning yell to Lula: Socorro Gomes, member of the Free Lula International Solidarity Committee and the World Peace Council, Ignácio Bernal, Senator from Spain, and Natália Sanchez, Congresswoman from Catalonia.
