- PT National President, Congresswoman Gleisi Hoffmann, visited the Lula Livre Vigil on this Friday, September 20th, to join the activists who continue unbowed in the resistance. Two days earlier, a strong thunderstorm that hit Curitiba caused light structural damage to the resistance center, but everyone’s communal spirit quickly got the situation under control. “The activists continue strong in their resistance, waiting for the release of the former President,” said Gleisi. - In an interview with Fórum Magazine, which was shown on this Thursday, September 19th, Lula sent a friendly message to the activist and former Congressman Jean Wyllys, who is currently living in exile. In answering a question by journalist Renato Rovai about the posture of the left in relation to the fight against racism, sexism and homophobia, Lula spoke of Jean. “The people in this country have to be respected. - This week, former President Lula was, once again, honored by university students who never forget the immense legacy left by the PT in public education. This time, history students at the Rondonópolis Campus of Universidade Federal do Mato Grosso (UFMT) paid tribute. - On this Saturday, September 21, São Paulo will hold the National Lula Livre Plenary, which has the goal of uniting members of the committees and national organizations to conduct an evaluation and look at perspectives for the campaign to free the former president. The initiative is a great opportunity for activists to meet and evaluate what is working and what needs to improve to increase the mobilization.
