- In an interview with the site Sul 21,former Foreign Relations Minister Celso Amorim reiterated what he has systematically said in Brazil and around the world: Lula is fundamental to foster dialogue in a country which is “deeply divided.” He also spoke about themes of importance in the national political debate and expressed his indignation with the diplomacy put in practice by the right-wing extremist Jair Bolsonaro government. “It is hard to tell if insanity is at the service of opportunism or if it is opportunism at the service of insanity,” he said. - There was another conversation circle at the Lula Livre Vigil on this Monday, May 27th, in which the democratic resistance activists debated subjects of public interest. This time, the theme was health, from the perspective of the small farmers who are at the resistance center. - As a warm up for this Sunday, June 2, the organizers of the Lula Livre Festival created a special playlist with songs that will be played by musicians performing at the event. Names like Criolo, Otto, Tulipa Raiz, Zeca Baleiro, Emicida, Fernanda Takai, Arnaldo Antunes and Chico César will take the stage and sing for freedom for the former President and against the setbacks underway in the country. - The same Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office which accused Lula without any material evidence authorized today that the vacation property in Atibaia can be sold. Therefore, the Lava Jato team itself has legally recognized that the property – which was used to convict the former President in the 13th Federal Court – is not the property of Lula.
