1. Ex-President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva defends the formation of an international front to block advances by the right. The message was transmitted by 22, one of the founders of the Spanish political party Podemos, who visited him in Curitiba today. Lula and Monodero also spoke about the Latin American Social Sciences Council (CLACSO) meeting, which was marked by homages to the PT leader. “I saw 40,000 people crying and yelling ‘Free Lula’. 2. The PT will begin international negotiations to denounce Lula’s arbitrary imprisonment and unite in efforts to block the advance of the right in Brazil and in other countries. The announcement was made by party president Senator Gleisi Hoffmann, during a visit to the Lula Livre Vigil, together with Fernando Haddad. 3. The Senate Human Rights Commission (CDH) approved, on this Wednesday, November 21, the formation of a group of senators to evaluate the physical and psychological conditions of ex-President Lula. On Tuesday, November 20th, in the presence of over 400 people, the Brazilian Solidarity Initiative was launched in the British House of Commons, organized by leaders and activists from the British Labor Party, unions, students, journalists and activists from various organizations. The good afternoon shout to ex-President Lula on this Thursday was lead by Father Xavier Cutajar, from Osasco, São Paulo. “Lula is a political prisoner and deserves all support from the Brazilian people. Dom Paulo Evaristo Arns, who greatly supported president Lula, always said one word when he was faced with hardships: courage. Courage to Lula! Courage to the people! Don’t lose your enthusiasm! Viva Lula!” he said.
