In addition to the protests that took place across Brazil on the National Day for the Struggle to Free Lula on Friday, July 13th, groups also mobilized in Portugal and England, demanding freedom for the ex-President and condemning the partisan actions of sectors of the judiciary, especially judge Sergio Moro. In Portugal, a protest took place on Lisbon’s Camões square, with Portuguese congresspeople like Antonio Filipe and Joana Mortágua defending freedom for Lula.
